The past few weeks have also reminded us, yet again, that Black Americans are too often denied fundamental human and civil rights that others take for granted.
Our mission at include is to provide opportunities and jobs in the technology industry to those not privileged — those who are disproportionately Black. This will always be our mission until the lack of diversity in tech is completely fixed.
The responsibility to fix this falls in the laps of companies. They must be held accountable for their commitments to racial injustice.
Therefore, we will be launching a few updates to our company product offerings, one of these updates being: when signing up to post their jobs, companies will be prompted to provide details of exactly how they are fighting systemic racism through diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
We will be providing more information on these updates in the following week.
