Our Crew
SquadJobs was built to fix the age-old problem – How can companies improve their diversity hiring and retention and, more importantly, how could they hold themselves accountable?

When our founder, Leanne Pittsford, created Lesbians Who Tech & Allies in 2013 a unique community for over 50,000 queer women, people of color, and non-binary folks began to coalesce around semi-annual summits. By 2017, the organization had come to partner with more than 150 tech companies to help in their diversity hiring and retention – and that’s where include was born.
By virtue of its mission to provide value and visibility to its community coupled with the demand of its partners, Lesbians Who Tech & Allies launched include in beta in 2018.
Now, SquadJobs is out of beta and we continue the mission of creating space for diverse perspectives to be visible and valued in the tech industry.

As an entrepreneur, investor, and thought leader, Leanne is committed to visibility, intersectionality, and changing the face of technology. As the CEO and Founder of Lesbians Who Tech, the Tech Jobs Tour, and include she has nurtured the largest LGBTQ community of technologists in the world and the largest event for women in tech in California while also building the Edie Windsor Coding Scholarship for non-binary and LGBTQ women.
Between 2006 and 2010, Leanne served as the Senior Director at Equality California, the largest statewide LGBTQ organization fighting Prop 8, which aimed to make same-sex marriage illegal. That proposition was deemed unconstitutional in California in 2013.
