Why referrals?
Historically, direct referrals have been a big part of the diversity problem. Encouraging employees to tap into their personal networks to refer friends, past coworkers etc. gives represented populations an advantage. Members of underrepresented communities who do not have this type of access or this scale of access, are left out.
While direct referrals are a big part of the problem, they are also part of the solution. include’s program can meaningfully scale to provide access to direct referrals for underrepresented techies.

“We’re not just creating communities; we’re changing the face of the entire tech industry by pushing the tech sector to be more inclusive.”
